NICKEL MINES

ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR MARCH 19-29, 2020

The Power of Forgiveness...based on the 2006 Lancaster, PA Amish schoolhouse shooting, NICKEL MINES is a non-traditional musical combining spoken dialogue with dance and a powerful original score. NICKEL MINES is an examination of the stories of lives spoken in their own words and a rethinking of the notion of victimhood. NICKEL MINES presents the events of that fateful October morning while making no judgements, professing no morals. The victims, the family of the killer, and the community all have a voice in this new theater. ACT of CT is the first professional theater to premier this fascinating, elegant and moving new musical.
